Dr. Christopher S. Wright has a multi-disciplinary PhD, a MA (Econ), a BA (Hons Com in Accounting) a FCPA (Australia) and CMA (Canada). He has taught Undergrad and Post-grad courses in Accounting, Economics, and Fisheries Management for over 30 years.

Before joining MIT (Melbourne Campus), Dr. Wright was the Professor of Accounting for Lincoln University (NZ) and an Associate Professor of Accounting at Lakehead University (Canada). He also has extensive industry experience with five years as an internal auditor (for a large international forestry company), worked in agriculture, fisheries, and services, owned and operated three SMEs, and served on the boards of many NGOs.

Dr. Wright is a prolific researcher, has supervised several PhD and other thesis students, and was extensively involved in applying for, receiving, reviewing and awarding research-focused government grants.
