Melbourne Institute of Technology has appointed an expert in corporate governance and ethics as the Head of its Business School. Marcia O’Neill recently took up the new role at MIT.

Marcia comes to MIT from the National School of Business at the Australian Catholic University where she served as Head, School of Business and Informatics. Marcia is a former Victorian State President and National Board Director of CPA Australia. Marcia is a specialist in business ethics and corporate governance and is a recipient of the CPA President’s Award for significant contribution to the accounting profession, particularly in relation to policy development in these fields.

Previous senior appointments held by Marcia have included academic and research roles at RMIT and the multi-national accounting firm, KPMG.

At MIT, Marcia will head up the new School of Business, including the recently accredited Bachelor of Business program.
