Spring Festival @ MIT
2013 Spring Festival celebrations for the Year of the Snake were held at MIT on Friday 8th February.
Students had great fun making dragons and tasting yummy traditional Chinese dumplings and sweets.
End of Exams - Pizza Party!
Celebrate the end of exams at the MIT End of Exams Pizza Party!, a great place to catch up with friends and relax after a busy couple of weeks.

Trimester 1, will kick off with free fun activities during Week 1, to welcome our New Students and Returning Students to 2013!
Come to Level 7 during Lunch Time for some fun activities and free giveaways!

The continuing message for Harmony Day in 2013 is that Everyone Belongs, which means all Australians are a welcome part of our country, regardless of their background”
MIT strongly believes in this message and will be holding a special Harmony Day Lunch.

GradLink - Graduate Programs Seminar
When: April 3 2013
As part of career focussed events run at MIT in 2013 the Student Services team will be holding a career networking event for students to access information about graduate programs and internships. The main emphasis of this is Seminar is for students to focus on the job market, network with industry and develop an understanding current of industry trends.
Guest Speakers from the Business and IT Industry and Graduate Advice experts from Grad Solutions will be presenting at GradLink.
Movie Night at IMAX
Housing the world's (3rd) largest screen, IMAX Melbourne Museum is a great place to watch the latest 3D movies.
The screen is a massive 32 x 23 meters long, making it a HUGE night out for MIT Students.
Movie choices will be on AMS during May.
Week 12 is dedicated to supporting students through their busy exam period; attend one of the many activities available throughout the week to help students Study Smart! and blitz their exams.
Study Smart Workshops, Exam survival packs; Free Breakfast and Snacks will be available to students at allocated times all week.
A great night out with friends! Start Trimester 2 by knocking down some pins and competing with MIT students.

Mount Buller Snow Trip
Always a great day out, experience beautiful Mount Buller on 4th August 2013. Friends and Family are welcome. Students can snowboard, toboggan, ski, sightsee on the chairlifts, or relax on the beautiful mountain.

MIT BBQ Feast!
MIT BBQ Feast! - come along to the Flagstaff Gardens and find out who won MIT’s Footy Tipping Competition! Prizes will be awarded to our top three winners.

MIT Student Leadership Conference
A new initiative for the students of MIT to develop their Leadership Skills, helping them to get ‘Job Ready’ by attending this conference students will be able to include it in their CV as part of their Professional Development.
Leadership is an important skill in any job environment and many aspects of general lift – Key Note Speakers and Workshops will be designed to get the best out of students who attend.

MIT’s Student Christmas Party is a great way to celebrate a busy year. Students will have the choice of where the party will be held in a survey distributed throughout the year.
