Morning tea with the MIT Computer Club

Some of the Computer Club members are introduced at the morning tea event.
The MIT Computer Club was formed with the assistance of the ACS-YIT and Melbourne Institute of Technology. The club hosted a morning tea event with Ms. Asheley Jones (Academic Lead- ACS Professional Year) and Ms. Fiona Teakle (YIT-VIC Chair) as the special guests. Ms Jones spoke about the advantages of the Professional Year program and how it will benefit the students through the internship program and also how it acts as a very good catalyst in bringing about change.
Ms. Fiona Teakle also shared knowledge on how important social networking is and how ACS provides that platform for networking through events like the 'YIT in the Pub' and various other events.
The event saw over 90 students and 14 MIT staff in attendance.
