The Culture Card has arrived at MIT!
On Monday 31st May 2010 Culture Cards began to be distributed to all International Students studying at MIT. “Culture Card Victoria provides a great way for international students, who are enrolled at post-secondary school institutions, to enjoy what is on offer in Victoria through a great mix of special offers at sports, arts, and many other events in our community” (www.culturecardvictoria.com.au/about )
Culture Card is a Victorian Government Initiative along side with The Melbourne City Council who have together set up partnerships with great Victorian cultural icons such as the Melbourne Aquarium, Melbourne Museum, Healesville Sanctuary, The Arts Centre, National Sports Museum, Queen Victoria Market and many others to provide international students with discounted and also free cultural events and activities to access with their Culture Card.
The Client Services Departments hopes that all MIT International Students benefit from using their Culture Card and that they have some exciting adventures discovering Victoria’s beautiful culture.

June 1st 2010 – An ‘Introductory Foodies Tour’ at Queen Victoria Market
June 9th 2010 – A Free Tour of the Melbourne Museum
June 10th 2010 – A Free Tour of the Immigration Museum
