Getting to MIT
MIT Melbourne campus is located at the historical - Argus Building at 288 La Trobe Street, on the corner of Elizabeth and La Trobe Streets. Entrance is via the La Trobe Street side.
Melbourne Central Railway Station is conveniently located directly opposite MIT. You may also get there via tram routes 19, 57 and 59 down Elizabeth St and get off at Stop 5. View Map

MIThas a variety of support services available to support students throughout their higher education life. If at any time you feel unsure, please feel free to contact one of our friendly staff.
Study Assist Program
This program consists of weekly workshops focussed on a range of academic study skills as well as discipline specific help to help you develop your skills as a higher education student. Areas for skill development include time management, presentations skills, assignment preparation and exam preparation. For more information, click here.

Student Support Services
We have a variety of services to support your welfare, wellbeing and transition into MIT.
Proof of citizenship – your original or a copy of either your Australian Citizenship certificate, Australian Passport or birth certificate
Tax File Number (TFN) - If you are planning to apply for Fee-Help, bring your Tax File Number or a Proof of Application. If you do not already have a TFN, there will be application forms available in your Orientation Pack
Academic documents – academic transcripts, completion letters and certificates of previous studies
