Graduate Diploma of Information Technology
Course overview
The Graduate Diploma of Information Technology is designed for graduates with an undergraduate degree in areas other than computing or information technology. The course offers continuing education at a graduate level for professionals from all disciplines. A background in computing is not required.
After successfully completing this program, students should:
- be familiar with the theoretical basis of Information Technology;
- demonstrate appropriate project management principles and techniques;
- have the programming skills required to architect and implement complex computer systems;
- be able to analyse, design and implement software systems, including functional, relational and object-oriented methodologies;
- communicate, in written and oral form, your own work and the work of others; and
- be able to discuss the latest developments in IT.
