Brief description

This unit provides an introduction to the underlying concepts and objectives of business law. Emphasis is placed on both theoretical and practical aspects of business law. The course aims to give the students a complete picture of business and law in Australia today.
This unit will cover the following topics:

  2. How laws are made
  3. Tort law and Insurance
  4. Contract law
  5. Consumer law and Restrictive Trade Practices
  6. Electronic commerce and intellectual property
  7. Business structures

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
