Let us be honest with ourselves, over the last month getting active has been challenging. Endless amounts of TV and Movies to stream, engaging online games to play and access to copious amounts of comfort food…Most of us probably will not be too surprised if we have packed on a Kilogram or two. While many people find it easy to find the time and energy to do their 10,000 steps per day and be as active as possible, others (understandably) do not.
It is totally okay to unwind, kickback, relax and take a load off, because doing so in times of uncertainty is likely what we need. However, We think it is also fair to say that when we emerge victorious from this crisis, we would not mind looking and feeling as good as we might have before this Covid catastrophe.
During stage four restrictions, Melbournians are presently permitted to engage in physical activity by ourselves or with one another person. However, some feel that doing so on a regular basis might be ‘socially irresponsible’, as it harbors a very low risk of prolonging the life of the virus via the potential infection of others. It is up to you how you act based on the advice of the Australian Government; however, We would suggest supplementing your outdoor workouts with online classes available free. Many people love class based fitness, and respond extremely well to an instructor talking them through phases of a workout session. If this is you, then you need to check out P.E. With Joe.
Who is P.E Joe? Well, put quite simply, he is a viral fitness instructor that offers live workouts that you can engage with in real time.
