Melbourne Institute of Technology bushfire response

Message from the CEO
Over the past few days we have witnessed Australia’s worst ever disaster. Along with the nation, the MIT community has been deeply shocked and saddened by the loss of life and property caused by the bushfires across Victoria. With fires still burning across the state, many towns are bracing for further threats.
On behalf of MIT, I extend my sympathy to all those who have lost family, friends or property. Our hearts and prayers go out to all who are affected by the tragic events.
To support those in greatest need MIT will donate $10,000 towards the emergency relief efforts. I urge staff and students to donate whatever they can. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Chief Executive Officer
