Bio
Aakanksha Sharma is a Lecturer and Academic Integrity Officer in the School of IT and Engineering at Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT), Australia. She holds a PhD in Information Technology from Federation University Australia and has over 13 years of teaching experience in higher education. She has taught at Federation University Australia and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), and previously served as an Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, India. Dr. Sharma actively supervises Master by Research students in areas including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, network optimisation, and tourism demand forecasting. Her research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), Software-Defined Networks (SDN), Wireless Communications, and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI). She has published extensively in leading international journals and conferences.
