Congratulations on receiving an offer to study at Melbourne Institute of Technology!
You'll need to follow these steps to accept your offer.
Step 1: Check if you have any conditions on your offer. These will be listed under 'Special condition of the offer'. The conditions may include:
- Certified or official copies of academic transcripts
- Completion letters or certificates
- English tests scores
- Genuine Student(GS) Requirement
You should email these documents to the Admissions team at acceptance@mit.edu.au or to your agent if you applied through an agent.
Step 2: Complete and sign the Offer and Acceptance Authorisation in your offer letter.
Step 3: Payment of fees
We'll process your offer acceptance when you've made payment as outlined in your offer letter. Payment should include your tuition fee deposit, processing fee (application fee), and, if applicable, your OSHC fee.
Send all pages of the letter of offer and Acceptance Agreement with proof of fee payment to:- Your agent if you applied through an agent or
- The Admissions team at acceptance@mit.edu.au if you applied directly.
Students outside Australia
Please note, students outside Australia are required to undergo GTE screening before paying tuition fees. You should pay your fee after receiving an approval from MIT. Find out more.
Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
We'll issue you a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) once you have accepted your offer and paid your fee deposit. You can apply for a student visa after getting a CoE from MIT.
How to pay your fees
There are several ways to pay your fees to MIT. These include:

Please complete the Credit Card Authorisation Form and submit it via email at finance@mit.edu.au or in person, Accounts Counter, Level-2, 288 La Trobe St, Melbourne, VIC 3000, Australia. This form is available here.Paying from overseas
Telegraphic Transfer: Please complete the 'Telex Transfer Annexure Form - MIT Prospective Students' and submit it to the bank. This form is available here. You must send the TT copy with the offer and acceptance authorisation.
Bank draft: Please submit a copy of the bank draft with the offer and acceptance authorisation. Original bank draft must be couriered to MIT immediately.
Sponsored Student: Attach a financial letter of guarantee when returning a signed International Offer Acceptance Form.
What to do after accepting your offer?
We'll process your offer acceptance and issue you a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) within five working days. Depending on your application method, we'll notify you or your once your CoE is approved.
You will need a CoE to apply for a student visa.
