It’s an exciting adventure you have just embarked on. Student Life can be amazing, whether you have just finished high school or you’re a mature age student deciding to up-skill. Studies have shown that having a successful first year experience will increase your chances of finishing what you started- yes, we mean graduating! AIM100- ACADEMIC INTEGRITY MODULE
AIM100 is a zero credit point online unit that is a hurdle requirement of all MIT courses. The unit is available for you to complete in Moodle.
MIT001 – LEARNING FOUNDATIONS
MIT001 is a self-paced unit designed to assist students successfully transitioning to university. The unit is available for you to complete in Moodle.
FIRST YEAR STUDENT COORDINATORS
Contact your First Year Course Coordinator for additional support to succeed in your studies, including course advice, study progression and achievement.
IT ACCESS AND RESOURCES
Enrolled students can access a range of student systems, applications, software, and IT services to help you with your studies.
GLOBALCOMMUNITY+
GC+ recognises participants who go beyond the curriculum for their own personal development and to support their community in Australia and globally.
CREATE A PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY
This includes learning modules to provide skills on creating and maintaining a professional identity. The unit is available for you to complete in Moodle.
VISIT THE LIBRARY
Find resources, get help with your assessments, join a study group or simply take time to study. The library is online and on campus.
ARRANGE A PEER MENTOR
Arrange a Peer Mentor to receive additional help in understanding unit material. Senior students are available to help through the Centre of Learning.
STUDENT REPRESENTATION
Contact your student representatives to give your suggestions for improving your units, course or other aspects of student life.
AIM FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Earn a Meritorious Letter from the Head of School each trimester and after that, aim for an MIT Academic Achievement Scholarship.
