Dr Shanthy Thuraisingham
Bio
Dr Shanthy Thuraisingham is the Assistant Course Coordinator, Master of Business Research. She was previously the Academic Director at Kaplan Business School, Australia and Associate Professor with Monash University.
She has researched and published in high ranking refereed journals and presented papers at conferences, including being invited as panel speaker for academic and industry seminars. She has been awarded many Awards for Excellence in Teaching, Research and Academic Services at Monash University.
Shanthy co-authored law books and is also instrumental in conducting the annual CEO Survey Malaysia, a collaboration between Monash University Malaysia, CPA Australia, Butler University, Indiana and the Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group (MSWG).
She was also a Course Director at Monash University and part of the team to spearhead the AACSB accreditation for the School of Business.
Shanthy was a member of the OECD Taskforce on Corporate Governance and a member of the Listing Committee of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. She was also a member of the Adjudication Committee for the Malaysian ASEAN CG Awards. Shanthy works closely with professional bodies like the Institute of Accountants and CPA Australia.
