Acting Course Coordinator, Bachelor of Business Programs.
Beverley is a highly accomplished professional with a wealth of expertise in accounting, information systems, and tertiary education. Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience in accounting, management, administration, training, and consulting, having worked across various sectors, including public and private companies, government bodies, and tertiary education providers. Beverley’s unique combination of skills and qualifications has positioned her as a leader in both academic and corporate environments.
She holds a Master of Commerce in Information Systems from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Ku-ring-gai College of Advanced Education. Additionally, she holds a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education, graduating with a perfect GPA of 7.0/7.0.
Since 2007, Beverley has held multiple leadership roles at MIT Sydney, where she currently serves as the MIT Sydney Centre of Learning co-ordinator and senior lecturer [School of Business] and as Administrator for IT & Business, Federation University programs. In this role, she oversees academic operations, manages staff development, and ensures compliance with accreditation standards. Her professional background also includes significant consulting experience, notably as the owner of WorkSMART Training & Consulting [1989-2007], where she developed training programs and provided management consulting services to clients such as NSW Fire Brigade and HIH Insurance.
Beverley’s academic contributions extend to publications on education and information systems, underscoring her commitment to advancing knowledge in her fields of expertise.
