Bio
Dr Ranajit Bairagi is born and brought up in Bangladesh where he worked as academic in Business at Khulna University in different levels from lecturer to professor from 1998 till 2022.
Dr Ranajit Bairagi has obtained his PhD in Finance in 2012 from Deakin University of Australia, a Post Graduate Diploma in IT from Khulna University of Bangladesh in 2003, an MBA in Finance from IBA in 1997 after a Master of Finance in 1994, a Bachelor of Finance in 1993 from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Dr Bairagi has more than 25 (twenty-five) years of experience of teaching a cohort of Accounting and Finance units at both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at tertiary institutes. More specifically, he has taught Accounting and Finance units at Federation University, Deakin University, and Holmesglen Institute in Australia and Khulna University, Southeast University, Northern University, Northwestern University, Open University, and Asian University of Bangladesh in Bangladesh.
He has published academic research papers in business in peer reviewed journals. Further, he is experienced at retrieving high frequency data from Bloomberg and Datastream along with using Econometric softwares such as STATA and Eviews.
Ranajit is currently working as a Senior Lecturer (Part-time) of Business Discipline at Asia Pacific International College under Education Centre of Australia (ECA) where he served as Associate Head of Discipline in Information Technology for two years from 2022 to 2024.
He has also been working as Sessional Academic at Melbourne campus of Charles Sturt University (CSU), Polytechnic Institute Australia (PIA), Universal Business School Sydney (UBSS), Australian Institute of Business Intelligence (AIBI).
Further, Dr Bairagi is a regular reviewer of academic scholarly papers and article editor of several academic journals in business.
