Key dates for offshore students

Offshore students must apply and accept their offer by the relevant deadlines to allow time for Genuine Student (GS) screening and visa processing. These are indicative dates – we recommend submitting applications as early as possible.

  • - Application closing date: 9 weeks before the orientation date
  • - Acceptance closing date: 6 weeks before the orientation date

Public holidays and MIT closures – 2025 to 2026

MIT campuses may be closed on public holidays, and no classes will be held on these dates. Trimester schedules may also be adjusted to accommodate major holidays.
