The Office of Student Administration & Experience is excited to share this new experience with you right before your exam period!

Let’s go for an indoor rock climbing! But before we continue further, let us tell you something about it!

About Rock climbing

Indoor rock climbing is any type of rock climbing with constructed fake rock walls inside a facility. It involves following routes on a rock face that need the use of naturally formed handholds and footholds. It uses specialised equipment as a backup safety system.

You will be briefed prior climbing and guided by professional rock climbers in the facility. This is a-two-person sport that requires a partner to belay (hold the ropes) for the other.

Where: Melbourne CBD.

When: Friday 10 February

Tentative Time: 11am (To be advised once the minimum number of attendance is confirmed)

Duration: 2 hours

Meeting Place: MIT Campus @ 10:30am

You must register if you are decided to join with your MIT friend/s. Note that this activity is for MIT students only.

How much does it cost?

Please refer to the Electronic Direct Message (EDM) sent by the Office of Student Administration and Experience on 25 January or simply email Cristina via Student Experience's email at studentservices@mit.edu.au for more details on payment. 

If you classes scheduled that day (Friday 10 February 2023) you will be ineligible to register for and join this event. This event is for trimester 3 2022 current enrolled students only.
