Join us on a whirlwind day tour as we leave busy Melbourne behind to explore the beautiful and relaxing Victorian country towns of Queenscliff and Sorrento!

08.45am – Meet n Greet beneath the clock at Southern Cross and Grab a quick coffee and a bite to eat as we get ready to start to travel ‘Around the Bay in a Day’.

09.10 am – We start our journey early at Southern Cross Station as we take a V/Line train to our first destination stop of Geelong!

10.22 am – Arrive into Geelong.

10.36am – We then hit the road on PTV 56 Bus on our way to Queenscliff. We pass through the regional towns of Point Lonsdale and Ocean Grove.

11.44 am – We arrive into Queenscliff and then make our way to the Sea Road Ferry* Terminal where we’ll get on board for a 12pm departure for a scenic 40 minute ride across Port Phillip Bay to Sorrento. You might be lucky enough to see a pod of Dolphins swimming out in the bay!!* (Ferry is FREE)

12.24 pm – Arrive into Sorrento. Take a breath and relax!

12.45pm – 2pm –We will stop off for a lazy lunch (which is included at NO COST) in Sorrento.

2pm – 2.55pm - Lets go explore Sorrento and its village! Take in a bargain or head down to the foreshore to sneak in a couple of cheeky snaps and take in the views of Port Phillip Bay.

3.03pm - Lets hop on board the PTV 788 Bus as we make our way back up the coastline through the seaside towns of Rosebud, Dromana, Rye and Mount Martha to eventually arriving into Frankston at 4.39pm.

Bookings are essential and are capped at 20. Hurry! Registrations close Friday 12th January 2024 at 6pm.

A $10 CASH deposit is payable to MIT Finance on Level 2 after your register on Eventbrite to hold your place and is due by 5pm Friday 19 January 2024 (which will be returned to you on the day). Your registration will be automatically cancelled if the deposit is not paid by the deadline.

Each student will have to ensure they have this amount ($10.60) is added to their Myki card to cover the cost of the return train trip prior to the days journey as we MUST leave right on time from Southern Cross station at 09.10am.

Your Cost – $10.60 (Which includes your Myki fare) Lunch (excluding drinks) and Ferry Trip are both FREE. All other costs ie drinks, coffees, souvenirs are at each participants expense.
