Join us on a whirlwind Great Ocean Road day tour as we leave busy Melbourne behind to explore the beautiful and relaxing Victorian seaside town of beautiful Lorne!

0845am – Meet n Greet beneath the clock at Southern Cross and grab a quick coffee and a bite to eat as we get ready to start to travel down the Great Ocean Road.

09.10 am – We start our journey early at Southern Cross Station as we take a VLine train to our first destination stop of Geelong!

10.12 am – Arrive into Geelong.

10.36am – We then hit the road by VLIne Coach on our way down the famous and historical Great Ocean road as we pass by the sleepy seaside towns of Torquay and Anglesea to our final destination of Lorne.

12.05 am – We arrive into Lorne. Take a breath and relax!

12.05pm – 130pm –We will stop off for a lazy lunch (which is included at NO COST) at the Lorne Sea Baths  For those who are little more adventurous the Sea Baths offers Mini Golf , Aqua Roller , Bumper Boats and Trampolining (at each participants cost).

130pm – 3pm – Did you know fishing is very popular down Victoria’s coastline in summer? Have you ever tried line fishing? This is your chance! Let’s go and head down to Lorne’s famous Pier and try your hand at a spot of fishing whilst taking in the view of the fabulous coastline to sneak in a couple of cheeky snaps before we head home.

3.28pm - Lets hop on board the V Line Bus as we make our way back up the Great Ocean road to eventually arriving into Geelong at 5.32pm.

Bookings are essential and are capped at 20. Hurry! Registrations close Friday 23rd February 2024 at 6pm.

A $10 CASH deposit is then payable to MIT Finance on Level 2 after your register on Eventbrite to hold your place and is due by 5pm Friday 1st March 2024 (which will be returned to you on the day). Your registration will be automatically cancelled if the deposit is not paid by the deadline.

Each student will have to ensure they have this amount ($10.60) is added to their Myki card to cover the cost of the return train trip prior to the days journey as we MUST leave right on time from Southern Cross station at 09.10am.

Your Cost – $10.60 (Which includes your Myki fare) Lunch (excluding drinks) and Fishing are both FREE. All other costs ie drinks, coffees, souvenirs and activities are at each participants expense.
