📅 Key Dates (AEST)

• Registrations close: Friday, 22 August 2025, 9:00 am
• Kickoff + Theme Reveal: Friday, 22 August at 11:00 AM
• On-site Hacking (Mandatory): Friday, 22 August, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (at MIT Campus)
• Submission Deadline: Sunday, 24 August at 11:00 AM

The hackathon theme will be announced at kickoff on 22 August, 11:00 AM. Come with fresh ideas and an open mind, the challenge awaits!

👥 Teams & Tech

• Form a team of 3–4 members (mandatory)
• Choose your own tech stack; you're free to use any tools, languages, or platforms

✅ Submission Requirements

To qualify, each team must submit:

• A working prototype that demonstrates the core functionality of your idea
• A video link showcasing and explaining your solution

The prototype should convincingly show potential to scale into a real-world application.

🔒 Rules & Guidelines

• All code must be written within the hackathon window:
  22 Aug, 11:00 AM → 24 Aug, 11:00 AM
• No prior/existing projects will be considered
• Only original ideas will be accepted; innovation is key!

📍 On-Site Requirement

• All participants are required to attend the on-site hacking session at MIT on Friday, 22 August, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: MIT Melbourne campus: Level 2, Room 2.27
