Happy Pride! June is Pride Month in Australia, an affirmative celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community (i.e., lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning, intersex, asexual, etc). Pride Month promotes increased visibility, rights, self-affirmation, dignity and equality of people who are 'outside the traditional box': everyone is a welcome part of the MIT community, queer and questioning and straight alike.
 
Meet the Counsellors in Exhibition Hall for art-and-crafts done Pride style. We'll make keychains or phone charms or friendship bracelets in rainbow colours. We're celebrating community and allsyship, self-expression and wellbeing: everyone is welcome. :-)
