Dr Mohammad Dabbagh

Dr. Mohammad Dabbagh received his PhD in Computer Science in 2015 from the University of Malaya (UM), a leading public research university in Malaysia globally ranked 60th. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of IT & Engineering at MIT Sydney. Before joining MIT Sydney, Dr. Dabbagh served as a Senior Lecturer and Program Leader at Sunway University Malaysia, for six years, where he led the dual degree program of Bachelor of Software Engineering offered in partnership with Lancaster University UK. During his tenure, he successfully secured two funded research projects. He has been recognized as a Senior Member of IEEE since 2021.
Dr. Dabbagh’s research interests encompass a wide range of topics including AI, Data Science, Blockchain, and Empirical Software Engineering. His work has garnered over 1,100 citations, with an H-index of 17. His research has been featured in prestigious high-impact journals such as Future Generation Computer Systems, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Computers & Security, IEEE Access, Soft Computing, Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, and Wireless Networks.
