PROGRAM OUTLINE

This comprehensive course is designed for people with an aptitude for numbers and desire to forge a career in professional accounting. Whether you see yourself working for the government, a company or even your own business, this degree will teach you the ins and outs of the systems and financial strategies that will prepare you for a rewarding career.

Your core subjects will include accounting, taxation, law, auditing, finance and economics. In addition, you’ll be future-proofing your career by developing skills in creativity, innovation, marketing and digital business. You will have the opportunity to undertake a practical placement, internship or project. Many of our graduates secure employment directly from Federation University’s work integrated learning and placement programs. Our strong links with industry and real-world experience gained throughout your degree ensure you start your career when you start studying with Federation.

The career opportunities for accounting graduates are vast. According to the Australian Government Job Outlook projections, demand for accountants is forecast to grow. Our Bachelor of Professional Accounting course gives you the flexibility to choose a career in any industry.
