After graduating from RMIT in Bachelor of Organizational Development and Industrial relations and Master of Business (Research) in strategic planning, she went on to undertake her Doctorate Thesis from CQU entitled ‘Relationships between the level of persistence of international students to remain enrolled, organisational characteristics and student support mechanisms’.

Patricia has had many years of experience in educational management, strategic planning, student services and marketing. Her experience includes the development of key performance indicators for public libraries for the State of Victoria and Library Advisor in Indonesia with the Indonesia- Australia Technical Education Project. In her wide and varied career, she has held positions such as strategic planner, national sales director, business development, student services and articulation. Currently she is the Director of Marketing and Student Engagement of MIT
